Uday began dancing when he formed his own Bhangra club in high school, along with a few other Ishaara members. At Berkeley, he was a part of the Movement Hip Hop dance team and a captain of UC Berkeley Azaad, the competitive Bollywood team at Berkeley since 2010. In fact, his teammates enjoy the fact that he is the only guy to have remained on Azaad during its first three years. In addition to performing alongside Ishaara, he has helped them with video editing, costumes & production. Uday spends the majority of his free time immersed in the field of Global Poverty and Social Entrepreneurship with hopes to develop a career in that field as well. He received his BA in Neuroscience at UC Berkeley, MS in Physiology at Georgetown University and is currently a medical student at A.T. Still University in AZ.
