Gini Dube is a young and culturally diverse dancer, choreographer, and instructor from Houston, Texas. Her dance career started at the age of five and she has been trained by prestigious dance companies, such as Rathna Kumar’s Anjali Dance Center and SoReal from Americas Best Dance Crew. Gini has had the privilege to dance with many professional teams, such as Alief Jazz Ballet, Marvelous Motion, Planet Funk, Redefined Dance Company, AATMA Performing Arts in New York City and is currently a member of 2014 World of Dance Houston champions, Wyld Styl. In addition, Gini has accompanied the Mahira Dance Company to open for the Sonu Nigam concert and has also danced at halftime shows for the NFL Saints, Houston Rockets and the 2007 Superbowl held in Houston. In recent years, Gini has accompanied AATMA Performing Arts in a World Tour, “Mystic India” in addition to their 2012 Naya Andaz winning performance and performances all around the greater New York City area. She has also back up danced for artists such as O’so Krispie’, Sweta Pandit and Comedy Central’s Maharaja’s of Comedy. She was also recently chosen in Shiamak Davar’s National Bollywood competition to perform at the 2014 Indian Film Fare Awards in Florida.

Showcasing her diverse and unique dance style, Gini has continued to perform and instruct various styles of dance such as Bharatanatyam, Bollywood, Bhangra, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and more. She has fused these styles into one and has had the opportunity to instruct dance classes at many studios including Hybrid Rhythms, Amazing Feats, Dance Austin, AATMA Performing Arts based in New York City, and currently Shingari’s School of Rhythm. She has illuminated individuals of every kind, from young to experienced, to find or even re-find their passion for music and dance. In her college years, her experience allowed her to choreograph and lead a national competing team known as the Mohini Dance Team, The University of Texas at Austins’ only Fusion Bollywood Dance Team. Gini also joined other dance groups such as Texas Bhangra and 2011 World of Dance Dallas Champions, Redefined Dance Company. Known for her energy, grace, and capability of lighting a stage up, she has continued to share her passion for dance with others and aims to face new beginnings and grow as an artist.
