Tej Motiwala is a New Jersey native and is currently working as a healthcare consultant. Although he does not have any formal training, Tej has been dancing since the age of six, when he started participating in folk dances for cultural shows at his temple. His first real exposure to Bollywood was in college, when he joined Northwestern’s HFD team A-NU-Bhav. Tej is a former Captain and Lead Dancer for A-NU-Bhav and was a member from its inception in 2008 until 2012. As a dancer, he thrives on near-robotic sharpness, ridiculous facial expressions, and occasional thrusting. Tej is excited to join Ishaara and is pumped to be dancing again!
