A native of San Jose, California, Shreya has been dancing since the age of 9 in various styles such as folk, classical, and Bollywood. She was a member of UC Berkeley’s Bollywood dance team for three years and a captain and lead dancer her fourth year. Shreya thought that graduating would mean the end of her dancing career but she is very happy that through Ishaara, she can keep doing what she loves. Apart from dance, Shreya has been working as a veterinary technician since graduating from Berkeley and is currently applying to veterinary schools in hopes of pursuing a DVM degree. Dancing helps keeps her sane during this crazy process.
