Meghana is graduating from the University of California in May 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology and a concentration in Animal Health and Behavior. Her love of dance began at the age of 6 when she began performing folk and Bollywood dances for her local community. At this time she also began formal training in the classical art of Bharatanatym, and Meghana completed her Arangetram in 2006. She continued dancing in college with Ishaara before taking up Swing dancing her junior year. In addition to dancing, Meghana loves riding horses and has competed at the regional and national level with her horse, George. She plans on pursuing her love of animals with a career in veterinary medicine.
