Juhi Goswamy grew up in Los Gatos, California and has been passionate about dancing since the ripe age of 3 years old. She has trained in a variety of styles, ranging from hip hop to jazz to Bharatnatyam and Hindi Film Dance. While in high school, Juhi was part of the professional dance company NAACH – now known as MSDC. Juhi joined Ishaara in 2007, while attending the University of California, Berkeley. While there, a combination of Ishaara and academic pursuit inspired Juhi to follow her passion in Public Health and found two female health education programs in India – one through Project Rishi, and one through the Foundation for Research in Health Systems (FRHS). Juhi graduated in 2010 with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a minor in Public Policy. Her experience with education and her entrepreneurial nature led to her to change career paths, and found her current company, Fundamental Preparatory. This company offers academic mentoring, tutoring, and guidance to students throughout the Bay Area. She hopes to continue to expand Fundamental Preparatory as well as to continue loving every minute of what she does!
